We need to discuss for the split or merge about the article for the upcoming third season of The Masked Singer Rider0101 (talk) 5:57 1 January 2020

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Robert McClenon was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was:

Please do not submit multiple copies of drafts. It does not increase the likelihood that one of them will be accepted into article space, and annoys the reviewers. It is likely to be seen as an effort to game the system, and may result in the drafts being nominated for deletion.

You have also submitted Draft:The Masked Singer (American season 3). You were advised to discuss on the series talk page, Talk:The Masked Singer (American TV series). You posted a comment on that talk page, but have not waited for discussion. Allow time for discussion before resubmitting. If this draft or a similar draft is resubmitted tendentiously without waiting for discussion, it may be nominated for deletion, and a topic-ban may even be considered.

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Draft:The Masked Singer (American season 3) (2). I do not think that Draft:The Masked Singer (American season 3) (2) fits any of the speedy deletion criteria  because not a valid reason for speedy deletion; take it to MfD if you must.. I request that you consider not re-tagging Draft:The Masked Singer (American season 3) (2) for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. The Masked Singer (American season 3) Copy/Paste

Hello Rider0101, recently you copied and pasted content from Draft:The Masked Singer (American season 3) to The Masked Singer (American season 3). Unfortunately, you made a mistake I had to correct and I'm letting you know here. I had to move all the pages around and create some new redirects so that proper attribution could be observed. I advise you read up on WP:COPYWITHIN before copy and pasting content from one article to another, as it may be a copyright violation unless you provide attribution in the edit summary—which you did not. Before I moved the page, the history showed you as the main contributor. However, this would be untrue as a draft was being contributed to by users other than yourself. It's important to provide proper attribution so as to not make it look as though you wrote all the content in an article when it's not the case.

I admit I too have done it once before years ago before knowing the policy, but copying and pasting content without attribution is something really serious to me, especially when an article I am working on pretty much by myself (Super Bowl television ratings) looks like it was created by someone else, even though I originally wrote the content in another article that they then copied and used to create the article! Thanks, I hope you understand. Heartfox (talk) 19:28, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes I do, and I’m glad that we finally have an official page for the Masked Singer season 3, so thank you. Rider0101 (talk) 19:51, 23, January 2020 (UTC)

Yahoo sources

Hello there. I just wanted to say it's probably better to use the original article as opposed to republishings of original articles. In this case, the Yahoo article shouldn't be used and the original article from TVLine should be used instead. Thanks. Magitroopa (talk) 23:26, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Percentage of Coronavirus template

Sure! The percentage is computed with: perc = (current_day_cases - previous_day_cases) / previous_day_cases * 100 --RicoRico (talk) 21:12, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Celebrity Show-Off requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Sources of progression charts for US

Greetings, I see you have been updating progression charts for US, e.g. in diff. What are the sources for these charts, and for these updates? Thank you. --Dan Polansky (talk) 06:25, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Consistent with WP:Verifiability, can you please tell us which sources you use to update the US charts for covid data? --Dan Polansky (talk) 10:13, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Please, tell us where you got the recovery data, otherwise we cannot include it.

Your metrics for Template:COVID-19 pandemic data/United States medical cases chart are 10,000 figures behind all official sources I've found, be it CDC or Johns Hopkins or the COVID Tracking Project. Why are you still re-instating edits which show the death toll is now over 170,000? Zhomron (talk) 15:08, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What source are you using? It makes no sense to mix sources in a time series. Just update the reference or answer so we can shift the history to your source. Now that I'm updating these---why are you changing the daily numbers every day? Scotty.tiberius (talk) 12:03, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Chart width

In diff, I restored the chart widths to 700; higher widths look suboptimal on my 15" screen, and I believe such a screen is generally not too small to use for calibration. If you disagree, let's discuss your device and screen, impact on various devices in general, and the like. --Dan Polansky (talk) 06:26, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wild 'n Out, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Kojo and Charron. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, Rider0101,

Thank you for creating The Parent Test.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article desperately needs references and more context. When, where is/was it broadcast? Critical reaction?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Paul W}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.
