    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting the restoration of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    I see now that there has been some discourse as to whether G5 is a criterion that should be considered here or not. However, I am not even sure that the original deletion of all of my articles under G5 was necessary, or even allowed according to my interpretation of the guidelines.
    G5 clearly states:
    • "To qualify, the edit or page must have been made while the user was actually banned or blocked. A page created before the ban or block was imposed or after it was lifted will not qualify under this criterion".
    All of the articles and templates that were deleted and are now here, were created before my block was imposed. I had no violations of my block and did not contribute to Wikipedia at all while blocked, yet I had to watch all of my articles and templates be removed, contrary to the criterion they were filed under.
    If I have made a mistake in this interpretation, please let me know as this is somewhat confusing to me. WhichUserAmI 17:56, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

    We don't understand why SKUvantage would have been deleted. This is a business with an interesting history and story, with over 50 employees, a market leader and innovator in its field and was acquired in 2021 by Salsify Inc., after 9 years of operating. There is more history to tell. There are many other articles about smaller or niche businesses that are on Wikipedia - not sure why SKUvantage would be singled out for deletion in this way.

    We would very much appreciate this being restored. We will also improve it with more external references etc..
