[1][2]Chavara Thekkumbhagom[3] or Chavara South is an Island village in Kollam District of the state of kerala,India.It is located in 10 km distance from the Kollam City.It is Covered by Ashtamudi Lake and located near the coast of Indian Ocean.It contains a famous Devi temple and Subramanya temple along with St joseph 's Church. There is no Muslims and Muslim Mosque in the village.It have only 2 outer connection via Dalavapuram pallikodi Bridge and Pavumba Bridge.
