Protect?
well, since somebody made the page i created become an ad page, then the admins deleted it instead of reverting it, i'm glad somebody, better than me, made another article to replace it, however i think we should semi protect it, to prevent the ad page from returning. ~~Griggs08 Someone just added something about the "kkk hanging jigaboos". ~~No0n3Left — Preceding unsigned comment added by No0n3Left (talk • contribs) 23:50, 6 December 2017 (UTC)

In my first hand experience, despite the "safe on most plastics" claim, it mars some common plastics, such as Lexan/Polycarbonate (CDs, plastic goggles) ABS (casing for most electronics) and painted surfaces. Cantaloupe2 (talk) 23:19, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Removal of 'Song' section
The song has absolutely nothing to do with this article. "Gently Johnny" is an old folk song far predating The Wicker Man, and the word used therein is "jingalo". mode_seven (talk) 00:29, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
Removal of Rubik's Cube in usage
It is not one of the listed applications on manufacturers page. This application has no place here than any other specific individual applications, so I removed it.

Conflict of Interest. ContractorBags is a representative of the manufacturer
Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Jig-A-Loo&oldid=365445637 . Note where the user stated "WE have changed formulation". Cantaloupe2 (talk) 09:22, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
Product/Company history (formulations, distribution, legal)
After some investigation regarding the formulation of Jig-A-Loo, it looks like the company has gone through several shifts in its manufacturing. The product's website links two different MSDS for the same product, one from 2020 and another from 2021. Notably, the 2020 excludes naphtha. Additionally, the MSDS sheets do not mention perchloroethylene or methylene chloride, but they are mentioned in the product website. Unsure of which source to believe. The differences in these sheets also lead me to believe that the company either switched or added a manufacturing location.
The article needs more sources supporting 2007 as the year global distribution began.
The company Jig-A-Loo Inc. may also merit having its own article, or at the very least making the product a subsection of the company's article. The environmental section of the article could be expanded to include legal repercussions to the company in the State of California for not adhering to guidelines regarding volatile organic compounds in consumer products. However, they may not specifically pertain to this article since the company faced fines for another one of its products, not the Jig-A-Loo lubricant.
