Image tagging for Image:Basmakulamtanksabri.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Basmakulamtanksabri.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Fair use rationale for Image:Makarajothi.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Makarajothi.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

License tagging for Image:Kudajadri1.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Kudajadri1.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Re: Some douts...

Hi! Uploading files is easy - Just go to Special:Upload and select the correct file from your computer. Be sure to give a meaningful yet unique name to the file. Next, select the appropriate license from the drop down list. Most images on the internet are copyrighted and are not appropriate for uploading to Wikipedia. (this is why you got all those messages above). If you upload a file here to which you hold the copyright (like a photo you took yourself), you must license it under a free license or release it into the public domain. Pick one of those tags from the drop-down list on the upload page. Click "upload file", and you are done! The image is now on the wikipedia servers. To add this image, use the wikicode [[Image:the_name_of_your_image.extention]]. Hope it is clear now. Any doubts/clarifications, just drop me a note. Cheers! -- thunderboltza.k.a.Deepu Joseph |TALK14:19, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Read the above messages concerning image copyrights. They should help. Real96 06:36, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Concerning digital camera models, you may want to browse the company's website who manufactures the camera, since not all digital cameras are alike. Cheers! Real96 06:38, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have perfomed a web search with the contents of BHARATHAPPUZHA, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.blinkbits.com/en_wikifeeds/Bharatapuzha_River. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 07:40, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
