'movie and radio'

'I have anxiety' about a recent wording change in the article from 'television and radio network' to 'movie and radio network'. Should that not be 'television, movie, and radio network'? MaynardClark (talk) 13:46, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It was just plain incorrect and has been fully reverted. NBC is not a movie studio. oknazevad (talk) 14:58, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

President Trump controversy--do we need an RfC for this?

I have tried to add referenced content about President Trump's long history with NBC. Today he called out "NBC bosses" over the Morning Joe controversy. User:Oknazevad has removed it twice. Yes, Morning Joe is on MSNBC, but that is owned by NBC, which is why the president talked about NBC. So it should appear here. And the section is not just about this one incident, but a series of remarks about President Trump made by NBC bosses over the years. I don't want to edit-war over this, so do we need to start an RfC? If we're going to have a section about controversies, I would think the one about the President of the United States should not be deleted. But happy to reach consensus here if we need it.Zigzig20s (talk) 20:26, 1 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

My point is simply the MSNBC article is the proper place for this, not here. Yes they're sister companies, but they're not the same one. And, frankly, Trump can say any thing, it doesn't change facts. I deal in actual facts, not alternative ones. oknazevad (talk) 21:07, 1 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The referenced content is about more than Morning Joe as I said before. It has several paragraphs about "a series of remarks about President Trump made by NBC bosses over the years.". You apparently disagree about NBC but your personal opinion is irrelevant; we relay content from reliable third-party sources here.Zigzig20s (talk) 21:20, 1 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The individual in question is now the President of the United States. That would make this referenced content extremely notable and noteworthy in context of the history of the subject of this article. Sagecandor (talk) 21:31, 1 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Criticisms and controversies

The Horatio Sanz lawsuit should be added to the criticisms and controversies section as multiple NBC security guards/employees are mentioned enabling the entry/abuse of an underage girl, as well as NBC being listed as a defendant.

EMERALD CITY (2017)

Bring back Emerald City. Viewers now will like it. It was made before it's time. Fantasy television is what so many viewers love. 2601:87:4481:5370:F880:7125:2304:F195 (talk) 03:23, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
