You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly election. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Dhruv edits (talk) 16:43, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

Parties and alliances - Table formatting
Hi @Maphumor. Please don't make major format changes without consensus at WP. Alliances should be shown in separate tables and not crammed up in one table. Only in elections that have not a single alliance, parties can be added in 1 table. Dhruv edits (talk) 16:25, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- this is better for all type of parties and alliances , because it can be que parties according to parties performances. Unlike in old format, for example, in Telangana and Rajasthan left parties are not good performer but they are on top because of their alliances. There is no major problem in new format, you can indicate, and change if there is any problem. Maphumor (talk) 16:35, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Maphumor Left parties in Rajasthan won seats in last election, that's why they have been added there. Party performance is added in the results section. The results have no bearing on Parties and alliances section. Parties that have independent coverage by reliable sources are added, irrespective of their performance in upcoming election. Unless a community wide consensus is reached, don't revert changes. Dhruv edits (talk) 16:41, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

- @Maphumor. This table format has been used for years for Indian elections. This table format is CONSENSUS. You need to get consensus for the changes you are making. You have already broken WP:3RR rule on multiple pages. Dhruv edits (talk) 17:11, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

Maphumor Why are you removing the standard way of party arrangements? Multiple editors have told you not to change it. But it seems you wont listen to any of us. Do you want to engage in an edit war. It seems like. Remember doing manual revert or removing edit summary won't save you from 3RR. Shaan SenguptaTalk 07:28, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

- @Shaan Sengupta I have given multiple warnings to this user. They have engaged in edit warring in multiple Indian election pages, even breaking WP:3RR rule. I had also tried to discuss on the talk page but the user has not responded properly and refuses to seek consensus for these edits. I have been taking a break from Indian election articles, so I am unaware of their recent edits. At this point, the user should be reported for edit warring and disruptive editing. Dhruv edits (talk) 07:38, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

- Edit war , why not to accept better things, if you can't do better. What's wrong in evolving and trying new formats. It's you ,who don't give satisfactory reasons for reverting my edits. Maphumor (talk) 07:42, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Maphumor There is something called Consensus in Wikipedia. And Wikipedia is a collaborative project not someone's property. So what you do shouldn't have any objections. If it has then it should be solved by the one who is trying to add that objection. In this case you want to introduce a new format which is not accepted to multiple editors. It seems you are not aware of these things. Shaan SenguptaTalk 07:46, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Dhruv edits I have already given revision links above. I have never reported edit warring. Can you please do it. I shall reply there. Shaan SenguptaTalk 07:44, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Shaan Sengupta It seems like this user wouldn't stop edit warring. I am a bit preoccupied right now. Let's give @Maphumor a few hours to revert his edits on his own. If not, I will make the edit warring report in a few hours. Dhruv edits (talk) 07:52, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

I would also request you to report this and the previous edit war that he did. Maybe he will accuse you too of the same. Shaan SenguptaTalk 07:54, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Your recent edits in 2024 Indian general election in Rajasthan, 2024 Indian general election in Jharkhand, 2024 Indian general election in Manipur do not appear constructive and it looks like you are probably making original research to uplift/suppress specific political ideology and you are contesting in edit warring to impose them over the edits of other editors. Please give edit summaries
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. - @Maphumor Can you clarify on what basis you are adding with INDIA and without INDIA? XYZ 250706 (talk) 13:25, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Maphumor Left parties are added only in some states where they can contest like Kerala, WB, Tripura, Assam, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Manipur, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. No one is adding them in Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab and some other states. Besides you are not saying any particular party. Left consists of multiple parties. Even Samajwadi Party and RJD are left-leaned. XYZ 250706 (talk) 13:28, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
- Particularly CPI CPM are added everywhere. There is no or little presence of CPIs in Rajasthan, jharkhand, Telangana , chhattisgarh. Make no sense to add there. Maphumor (talk) 13:35, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Maphumor Some left parties have presence in specific pockets only. Even AAP has no presence in Assam except some seats in Municipal elections. Besides, some have announced to contest. For example CPIM has announced to contest in Rajmahal in Jharkhand. Besides do INC have too much strength in Andhra Pradesh? XYZ 250706 (talk) 18:15, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
- Besides you should wait before edit warring. You are deleting CPIM in Assam also where it has got seat also. It is unfair to delete any party may be RJD, Left, INC, AAP, TMC before announcement Or 100% confirmation or confidence. XYZ 250706 (talk) 18:18, 23 February 2024 (UTC)

Mass creating new articles in mainspace with obvious errors
Hi Maphumor, at the time of writing, you've created 2027 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly election and 2027 Punjab Legislative Assembly election both of which are void of references, may not yet meet the project's threshold of WP:Notability, and have major issues with language and prose. For example, on 2027 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly election, Legislative Assembly elections were held in Uttarakhand on 2027 Nov to elect 70 members of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results were declared on 10 March 2022. The errors there should be glaringly obvious. I'd suggest you slow down with article creation and consider moving these to the draftspace or your sandbox where you can complete them and move them to mainspace when they're ready. microbiologyMarcus [petri dish·growths] 20:50, 26 February 2024 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly election, you may be blocked from editing. As this was your 3rd time adding the content, I suggest you to refer to: Wikipedia:WikiProject Indian politics/Election: Article structure#Parties and alliances, where it clearly stated that There are many parties contesting elections and all cannot be added since this is not an exhaustive list. Only notable parties that are contesting a significant number of seats should be added. If a party that is either not notable or is contesting only a small number of seats, wins a seat, then it can be added to this section after the results are announced.
Both All India Forward Bloc and Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation do not qualify the criteria. 456legendtalk 06:18, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- AIFB contested more seats than CPI, CPIM. Got more votes, got seat last time , then why it doesn't qualify. What's the sense. Or you just feel to do that.
- Other parties are not added by the way ,it just a idea of total parties contesting election. What is your reason to remove it. My edits doesn't clash with wiki rules. Just think before doing anything. Nonsense Maphumor (talk) 08:07, 6 March 2024 (UTC)

Hello Maphumor, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Next Goa Legislative Assembly election, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Next Goa Legislative Assembly election (2nd nomination).
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
