Rider (Fate/Zero)
Rider is a fictional character from the Japanese visual novel Fate/Zero by TYPE-MOON and fellow developer Nitroplus.
He is a servant of Waver Velvet in the 4th Holy Grail War. Rider is noble and physically overbearing, who prefers to conquer his enemies by winning without killing and controlling without humiliating them. He is not pragmatic, but is a person who lets history run its course and acts according to his impulses. While he is wild and somewhat inconsiderate to others, his greed ultimately resulted in the happiness of the people he ruled over.

Noble Phantasms
He has several Noble Phantasms, two of which have been revealed.
- Via Expugnatio: Distant Trampling Domination
- Rank: A+
- Type: Anti-Army
- A trampling style using the Gordius Wheel, Wheel of Heaven's Authority. Two damage rolls, from the hooves of the divine bulls and wheels of chariot are made. In addition to the physical damage from both attacks, there are also lightning (the manifestation of Zeus) effects, and should the target fail its STR check, additional damage will be dealt.
- Ionian Hetairoi: Army of the King
- Rank: EX
- Type: Anti-Army
- Allows the planar manifestation as Servants of Iskander's personal guard, who vowed allegiance to him even after death and became Heroic Spirits together with their lord. The summoned warriors are all Master-less Servants, however each have the rank E- equivalent of the "Independent Action" skill, allowing materialization possible for a maximum of 30 turns.
True Identity
His true identity is Iskander, the King of Conquerors.
Role
Rider was summoned by Waver Velvet with an artifact; a mantle once worn by Iskander. This artifact was originally Lord El-Melloi's and stolen by Waver, who intends to prove that his teacher is wrong.
Iskander, the King of Conquerors, is noble and physically overbearing. He is an enormous man who has little interest in the Holy Grail and cares more about conquering the world again, especially now that he realizes the world is much bigger than he was aware of during his life. He is especially fascinated by ordinary aspects of modern life and intends to inform the world of his return, much to Waver's chagrin.
It is said that Gilgamesh was the one who defeated Rider, who was weakened after a long battle with Saber.
