Dylan was a late 1973 Columbia Records release of Bob Dylan music from the infamous Self Portrait sessions of 1969-1970, issued after Dylan briefly left the label and momentarily signed up with David Geffen's new Asylum Records.
Universally considered the worst Bob Dylan album, and completely unauthorized by its maker, Dylan received poor reviews upon release and managed to hit #17 in the US and become a gold record. It remains to this day the only Dylan album to not be issued on CD and, therefore, deleted from his catalog.
