WUMS (92.1 FM, "Rebel Radio") is a student-run formatted college radio station in University, Mississippi. WUMS is owned and licensed by the Student Media Center of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). WUMS serves University/Oxford, Mississippi and the surrounding area in Lafayette County with an ERP of 3,000 watts. Rebel Radio is one of the few commercially-licensed collge radio stations in the country. Rebel Radio is run by DJs of various majors. Rebel Radio is part of the student-run Student Media Center at Ole Miss. 92.1 WUMS is also the Official Radio Station of the 2008 Presidential Debate at the University of Mississippi.
