Backwards names
Your cluebot2 is creating articles for asteroids writing names backwards, such as Shoemaker, C. S. instead of C. S. Shoemaker. Obviously, this means wikilinks to those names don't work properly. Can you fix this? Aleta Sing 01:18, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- On the same topic, is it possible for ClueBot II to add interwiki links to these asteroid articles? Without any, they seem not to be picked up by the language bots, which look for interwiki links as a starting point — BillC talk 00:48, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Could I suggest updating the user page for your bots to include references to each of their approved tasks? I was about to ask you if you'd approval for the "asteroids" tasks, until I eventually found the almost-orphaned Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/ClueBot II 3. Hello once again. You might not have noticed on my userpage that I've been making comments on the top of my page that were (to me) a little too harsh about [1], and I removed them. You might want to take some time by reading the message that I currently have at the beginning of my userpage. Some of them I thought you wouldn't like, as there were some of my complaints about the fast-reverting user. Today, I offered my apologies on why I was so harsh a couple days ago. I've reverted some edits today, but got beaten a lot. Just take some time to read the lines I have there now, and please don't look at the other ones I previously put up. I know, it's fast because it's a computer program, but I feel unhappy when I don't get a lot of reverts done on a certain day. I also had a question: Are administrators the only people who change the settings for your bots? I thought that since I really liked reverting page blanking, I had a compromise. It's like taking turns: I can get three days of page blank reverting, then your bot can get three days of that duty. I have a feeling that this will make the whole situation better. If this compromise doesn't work, then I guess I am this song. Thanks. (sigh...now I'm going to get back to page reverting.) SchfiftyThree 22:52, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

I really liked that job, but it's faded away, and I really would like to do it again. 3 days for me, 3 days with the bot. It's that simple. If the compromise is considered failed, then I have nothing to do but stop reverting vandalism. Your bot can still revert page-replacing; I'm okay with that.
