The V&A Village Fete is an annual event held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Participants

The fete aims to put an alternative spin on the traditional English village fete and features stalls from both established names and newcomers in the UK's creative industries, in particular from the fields of Graphic Design and Fashion.

According to an article in industry title Design Week, "the aim of the line-up is to provide a current snapshot of contemporary design, looking at both practices and individuals".

Confirmed participants for 2008 include jewellery designers Tatty Devine, Poke London, Graphic Thought Facility, Fever Zine and graphic designer Daniel Eatock.

Location

The event is held in the V&A's John Madejski Gardens and runs over two days.

2008's fete, in partnership with fashion brand French Connection, will be held on 25th and 26th of July.

Past events

In 2007 the fete took place on the 27th and 28th of July
