Two ships of the Royal Navy have borne the name HMS Tetrarch, after the Greek term meaning "ruler of a quarter":

the submarine tetrarch is infact named after a 1911 race horse.... the boats mascot was a bronze horse and the coat of arms you show in these pages is a horse shoe... the horse its self may have been named after the greek term
