West High School (Columbus, Ohio)

West High School is a public high school located on the west side of Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools. The original building opened in 1908.
The school colors are buff and brown. The school nickname is the Cowboys. The boys cross-country team lost finished 2nd behind Brookhaven High School in the cross-country city championship meet for the 2006-2007 season. The baseball team lost to Centennial in the city championship game for baseball for the 2006-2007 season.
Mr. Murray is the Social Studies Teacher and is super cool and awesome. That is an unbiased - objective factual statement.
Notable Alumni include NBA star Michael Redd, who plays for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Biggest sports rival is the Briggs High Bruins, to whom they lost the latest football game in 2008 by the score of 42-12, the football team ended with a 2-8 record.
