Hello all, my name is D'Juan Bracey, and I had once went under the name "Dbraceyrules" but have now changed it to V. Molotov after - well, not the Soviet politician - but the Molotov cocktail. I have edited Wikipedia since November 14, 2004, but I hadn't registered my user name until January 16, 2005. Since then I have made thousands of edits on this site, and hope to continue my services here. I enjoy historical articles, and anything to do with the Spanish and Portuguese languages - so you have - or will eventually see me around those camps. I am also fascinated by classical music, so I have created a bit of articles on that too. Many of my contributions may concern military ranks and heraldry as well. Recently I have also made contributions in regards to the "Bali Nine" and similar cases. Note that I enjoy welcoming users and giving barnstars - despite criticism of other users who may claim I "pass them out like smarties" Personally, I believe welcoming ten users who will make 1000 contributions each is way better than making 10,000 edits yourself. I hope to continue here and be a bright spot in the WikiCommunity.
My name is D'Juan Bracey as you already know, explaining my former user name, Dbraceyrules. I am a graduate of the International Baccalaureate program, and I graduated salutatorian from Jim Hill High School. I am attending the University of South Florida, and I am doing quite well there (I think I am going to eventually transfer). I have recently been published in three magazines, with poems entitled "Warrior" and "African Prince"! I am hoping to add to Wikipedia, especially in my area of interest: Russian, Roman, and African-American history - as of now, I am a history major and I am pursuing a career as an attorney and history professor (or historian, if you want to put it that way - probably doing that too). I can also hope to add to the Spanish Wikipedia articles here:[[1]] articles, and also to Portuguese articles - I still have some to learn in that language, but I imagine that I could "get around." BTW, I made some edits about bullfighting there.
To tell you a little more about me, I move around alot. I was born in San Diego, CA; moved to Mississippi when I was eight (and hated every moment of it), and now I live in Florida.
I could describe my self as a person of opposites - I am a loner at time, but love to go to clubs at times. I can be talkative - but extremely quiet. I can be mature, or as geeky as they come...I guess the difference is in the position of the stars or something. : ), Well that's about it.
Some things about me:
1. Much of the information that I have contributed is what I have learned from a Bathroom Reader or the World Book Encyclopedia. Then a lot is from what is posted on other articles. Most, however, come from I have read in critical essays and history books...go figure!
2. I used to be a Wikipedia vandal on a user page for User:DreamGuy. However, I have renounced doing such childish things, and I buried the hatchet with DreamGuy...I think the whole fight started over a feud with my article on Edgar Ray Killen. (I have personally apologized numerous times to this user, yet he found something that happened so long ago a reason to oppose me on my recently failed RfA)
3. I HATED IB!
4. And just to make sure you all know that I am not trying to brag on myself with all the contrib links and barnstars and the bio, I confess that I haven't been the perfect Wikipedian. Most of the time I keep cool in the face of persistant vandals - but I can get pissed off with them and lose my temper. I just hope all this can be put aside. 5. I would never use Wikipedia for research on a paper or so. That is because most of the info has been a "compromise" between angry - and some arrogant - editors. Second, if "everyone can edit" - "every" article can be filled with errors because the few, dedicated editors can never check all articles for verfiability. I edit this encyclopedia mostly as a hobby - I love uploading the info, but since there are so many tags - on several important articles - stating that nothing had been cited, or the "neutrality" is disputed - it is not plausible to use this as an authentic source. Also not that the General disclaimer states that none of the WikiEditors can be held accountable if crap is put on the encyclopedia and it was reported. The "Wiki" is good mostly to add to knowledge - not to research papers.

... that the 1991 Andover tornado(pictured) narrowly avoided hitting two warplanes equipped with nuclear warheads?
... that Murad Al-Katib provided 700 million meals of Saskatchewan-grown chickpeas, lentils and wheat to a United Nations program for Syrian refugees?
... that the titular songstress in Sing-Song Girl Red Peony, a contender for China's first sound film, was overdubbed by a man?

"Giving this "lots of barnstars" to myself so I don't have 13 awards - I am a little superstitious (it is kind of stupid). Plus, this isn't really an award - it is a fact that I have quite a few of these stars. Molotov (talk) 19:25, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
