Dwayne Armstrong is a former American Footballer who played for the Oakland Raiders between 1992-1994.

The African-American athlete is best known for converting to Australian Rules Football where he was recruited by Essendon Football Club coach Kevin Sheedy[1] to play in the Australian Football League[2]

Despite showing some promise on Essendon's supplementary list. Although he did not debut at senior AFL level, he played several reserve grade games.[3]

Following his AFL attempt, Armstrong became the NFL development manager for Australasia[4].
