Illyrians

Welcome to Wiki:)) Anyway I don't think that you should quit on this. Every article has this kind of issues (although Albanian related articles have more since there are many neighbours:) which prefer to put them outside that area propably descending from the Mars:)) The problem in the Balkan area is that there was not a free circulation of ideas and the problem is still persisting. For eg Greek editors publish in Greek language (from the Greek authors and others translated) mainly books supporting their thesis not alternatives (although you can find them in the web) and also the common people is more prone to believe and buy these books than the others. The same happens in all the Balkan states especially in those countires which have still open issues:) with their neighbours. That's why it is very difficult to cooperate sometimes. Yep I know that photo. It was discovered near Pogradec. The original photo is more extended though, in the left there is an Illyrian fighter and in the right a macedonian. Behind the Illyrian(on horse) ther is a snake totem of Illyrians(not seen in this picture). The problem is we don't know if this photo can be used (property rights). The Dayton Agreements were designed to stop the war in Bosnia. They did not take care of Albanians of Kosovo because it was a separate issue, and it would only have impeded to reach any agreement. Do not threaten me. I think you will find that accusing some one of pushing an "Albanian national POV" is a personal attack so maybe you should speak to the other user. Interestedinfairness - the main problem is that although a previous violation of WP:NPA may explain your perceived need to retaliate, it can never excuse retaliation. If you are being subject to personal attacks, please use forums such as WP:WQA or in extreme circumstances, WP:ANI - do not resort to retaliatory insults. FACTS

Slobodan Milosevic was never convicted, as you claim. He was indicted, which means that a government organization formally claimed that he committed various crimes, which they failed to prove before he died. Similarly Vojislav Seselj, is indicted (formal accusation, innocent until proven guilty) for crimes, seven hours before the end of trial, the prosecution indicted (formal accusation, innocent until proven guilty) him for another charge.

The most important facts are that in both of the articles, of the said above individuals, there is a sentence describing their indictments. Agim Ceku is indicted (formal accusation, innocent until proven guilty) by Serbia for war crimes and accordingly we should have a sentence in his header as well.Mike Babic (talk) 01:01, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The difference is that slobodan was indicted by the UN. Who is serbia to indict a Albanian/Croatian national? Its political jostling, they will never get him.

How about no one vandalizes ANY articles? That rule isn't unspoken; in fact, it's Here. Edits to a page by someone you don't agree with aren't always vandalism. Serbs and Albanians can certainly work together to improve articles. Not everyone is as focused on POV-pushing as you may think. If you are truly on the right side of a debate, the FACTS presented in an article will reflect that. If you're not... well, maybe you need to re-evaluate your position, rather than lie to people.
