"Love Drunk" is the second studio album recorded by rock/pop band Boys Like Girls.

The album was recorded half in New York City and Vancouver because there are "two different producers/production teams, two different environments, and two different styles of inspiration", stated by the band's frontman, Martin Johnson.

The first two singles, self-titled "Love Drunk" and "Missed Calls" are to be released in July 6 and 7 consecutively.

Development and release

The album will be available worldwide for download on iTunes, 16 September 2009. A deluxe edition of the Love Drunk studio album will be featured and released through iTunes exclusively only on 2nd, 3rd and 4th of October.[citation needed] On 25 June 2009 at around 10:15AM, the band posted free streaming of their first single "Love Drunk" on their mySpace site. Several leaks of the song were spread online then. It is also said that the band would also be releasing their second single "Missed Calls" on 2 July on their site as well. The band's frontman, Martin Johnson, also stated on his Twitter account that the band would be releasing a special version of "Missed Calls" for free download exclusively on the band's official site, www.boyslikegirls.com. A rough demo of the track was leaked onto casttv.com and can be viewed through http://www.casttv.com/video/07ml1m/boys-like-girls-two-is-better-than-one-new-song-hq-video .

Pop/R&B singer Chris Brown has also stated that he would be on back vocals on the track "Just, Waiting For You" in the 'Love Drunk' deluxe album.[citation needed]

Singles

Love Drunk is the title track and first single of the album of the same name. It was released to iTunes on June 30, 2009 and sent to mainstream radio on July 7. The music video features Ashley Tisdale.

Missed Calls will be the second single. The band's frontman Martin Johnson was featured on the show Kid Kraddick in the Morning and stated in an interview that there shall be no Missed Calls song to be included in the second record. On July 11, he confirmed with Kerrang! magazine that there will be Missed Calls included in the album. Many fans were upset over the dispute of the Missed Calls single.

The third single has been verified to be the fourth track of the album, titled "Two Is Better Than One".[citation needed]
