Road Signs in the Republic of India are similar to those used in some parts of the United Kingdom, except that they are bilingual. In India vehicles must be driven on left side ( lane or part ) of the road. The automobiles in India ( Bharath )are right hand drive. The vehicles must be overtaken from their right side.
Most city roads and State highways have signs in the state language and English. National highways have it in Hindi, the state language, and English. Many in India do not follow traffic rules.
