Mechanism for reduced CO2/alkalosis
Neeral: I'm sure whether you'll see this page, so I'll also post on the acetazolamide talk page. I am not an expert in altitude sickness, I'm not sure that your explanation of how blood CO2 is reduced is correct. I believe that the major cause of alkalosis is not related to the decreased solubility of CO2, but rather the hypoxia-driven increased ventilation (respiratory alkalosis). Do you have any literature support for your assertion? D.I.L. (talk) 14:31, 12 March 2009 (UTC).
stubbing
Hi, When you're considering adding a {{stub}} tag to an article likePhosphoribosyl pyrophosphate, please (a) check carefully that it hasn't already got a specific stub tag (this one had) and (b) if adding a stub tag, add it at the end not the beginning (per WP:LAYOUT). Thanks. PamD (talk) 21:32, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
