Walter Koenig

Walter Koenig (born September 14,1936) (pronounced KAY-nig) is an actor. He played the character Pavel Chekov in the original Star Trek television series and in the several movies that featured the original cast.

In the years after he had finished his work in Star Trek, Koenig played a role that was a departure from the Chekov character, Koenig played Alfred Bester in Babylon 5. The Bester character was an evil telepathic cop who believes that the ends do justify the means.
