The Wing-snapping Cisticola (Cisticola ayresii), also known as Ayres' Cisticola, is a species of bird in the Cisticolidae family.

Distribution and habitat

It is found in Angola, Burundi, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland and subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland.
