The mobile Operating System released by Apple on Monday, June 7. It use to be called the iPhone OS, because of the famous phone Apple as made over the last few years, but to erease the confusion with the iPad OS, iPod Touch OS and the iPhone OS, they renamed it the iOS.

Controversy is already appearing over it, as Cisco already owns the name IOS for their product "Internetwork Operating System".
