Lidija Bizjak
Lidija Bizjak (nativename=Лидија Бизјак, pronunciation=[lidija bizjak], born August 2, 1976 in Belgrade, Serbia) is a concert pianist.
At 6 years old Lidija Bizjak began playing piano under Zlata Males and finished Belgrade Conservatory of Music at 19 and voted "best student of the year" for the 1995/1996 school year.
In 1995, Lidija Bizjak started at the Paris Conservatory in Paris, stuyding under Jacques Rouvier until 1998 when she won the first prize in piano. In 2000 she was awarded a Master of Arts with the highest possible score by the Belgrade Conservatory of Music.
Subsequently she won several competitions, notably top prize at the 2000 Dublin International Piano Competition.
Since 2002, she frequently performs duets with her sister Sanja, who is 12 years younger.
