Born: 1925 Birthplace:Venbakkam (near Chennai)

Career: V.S. Raghavan (actor) started his career as a dramatist. He started the Indian National Artists in 1954 with four other friends.the INA staged plays at reputed Sabhas in singara "Chennai". Veteran director K.Balachander who has won several accolades as director for memorable films was part of his troupe. The INA closed down a decade later and Raghavan entered the cinema world and acted in supporting roles. He is also very well known for his roles in the T.V serials "Anni" created by K.Balachander. He currently acts in tele-serials.
