Our Lady of Šiluva

Our Lady of Siluva is Roman Catholic icon of the Virgin Mary in Siluva, Lithuania. A Cathedral of the same name has been built and is dedicated to it.
According to legend, the miraculous icon was brought to Siluva from Rome as a gift to Lithuanian nobleman Petras Gedgaudas.[1]
A reported Marian apparition associated with the icon resulted in the discovery of the deed to a church that had been left for safekeeping, and resulted in increased pilgrimages to the site.[2]
