Rooma Mehra

Rooma Mehra (born 24 January 1967)[citation needed] is an Indian poet, painter and sculptor, as well as a columnist for the Indian Express.

Mehra is a self-taught artist with a social conscience, who has had 11 solo shows[citation needed] of her paintings, reliefs and sculptures. Her artworks are found in private and permanent collections including the National Gallery of Modern Art,[citation needed] New Delhi,[citation needed] Lalit Kala Akademi,[citation needed] New Delhi, Arte Antica Gallery,[citation needed] Canada, and individual collections in Switzerland, the U.S.A., Denmark, Austria, the U.K., Spain, the U.A.E. and Japan.

She expresses humanitarianism in all her works of art as well as her writings.[citation needed]
