"Chaos Theory (CSI)"

"Chaos Theory" is the second episode in the second season of the television drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, which is set in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Critical analysis

This episode may have been at least partially inspired by Thornton Wilder's The Bridge of San Luis Rey which contains at least similar themes and philosophy.[citation needed] Entertainment Weekly put it on its end-of-the-decade, "best-of" list, saying, "This 2001 episode of the procedural powerhouse involves the death of a college coed. So whodunit? No one. Breaking all conventions, it turns out her death was just an accident."[1]
