Freddie Hamilton (born January 1, 1992) is a Canadian ice hockey player currently playing for the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He was selected by the San Jose Sharks in the 5th round (129th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. His brother, Dougie Hamilton is a defenseman for the Niagara IceDogs. His parents are Doug Hamilton (rower) and Lynn Hamilton (nee Polson), both members of Team Canada for the 1984 Summer Olympics (rowing and basketball, respectively). Freddie was the first ever draft pick in the Niagara IceDogs history.[1]
