What's with the date format...

Is there a reason for using DD/MM/YYYY? YYYYMMDD makes the most sense for me from a time & date perspective. From biggest to smallest. Is there an international standard for dates?

DD/MM/YYYY is the standard...since the British Empire which pre-dates american conventions.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.110.210.75 (talk) 22:00, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nah. YYYY-MM-DD is the international ISO date standard. --Subfader (talk) 01:03, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It said in the area that BBC was taking no action against Bit Torrent and other peer to peer sites. But if I am correct. They have proceeded with legal action with the individual download of mixes being taken down from blogs and other DJ Mix sites.

I cannot cite a reference; thus I cannot add it yet. But discussion further on this? --Shieked :3 15:13, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can't confirm and I am knowledgable of this subject. Just take a look at previous external links on the article to find links to sites which even sold the mp3s online... --Subfader (talk) 01:01, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

1983 onwards

Anybody know how we can get a hold of the original mixes from back in the day? The oldest mix year i have is 1996, i have not been able to find anything from earlier. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.105.81.114 (talk) 18:39, 8 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
