Florian Lechner (born 3 March 1981 in Ellwangen) is a German footballer who plays for the New England Revolution.[1]

Career

Lechner made his professional debut in the 2. Bundesliga with St. Pauli on 8 February 2009 when he came on as a substitute in the 42nd minute against SpVgg Greuther Fürth.

On 11 May 2011, FC St. Pauli announced that Lechner's expiring contract would not be renewed.[2] For the 2012 season he signed for New England Revolution in Major League Soccer. [3]
