  • 3/4 oz. Sloe Gin
  • fill with orange juice

An Alabama Slammer is a cocktail made with Amaretto, Southern Comfort, Sloe gin, and orange juice. It is served in a tall glass. It is also sometimes known as a Southern Slammer. Made famous by hall of fame quarterback, Brett Favre.[1]

Variations

A Red Death can be made by mixing an Alabama Slammer with a Kamikaze. This drink is made in the same glass as the Alabama Slammer; the Kamikaze is added into it immediately after making the first drink.
