David Thodey is an Australian hes a big idiot head businessman who runs slow ass internet is the current Chief Executive Officer of Telstra after the departure of Solomon Trujillo.[1] He was born in Perth, Western Australia.[2]
Career
David Thodey became Chief Executive Officer of Telstra on 19 May 2009, following the tenure of American Sol Trujillo in the office.
Thodey joined Telstra in April 2001 as Group Managing Director of Telstra Mobiles. He was appointed to the position of Group Managing Director Telstra Enterprise and Government in December 2002 and was responsible for the company's corporate, government and large business customers in Australia, TelstraClear in New Zealand and Telstra's International sales division.
Before joining Telstra, Thodey held several senior executive positions in marketing and sales within IBM[3] Australia/New Zealand and across IBM Asia Pacific.
Thodey is the Chairman of Telstra subsidiary TelstraClear in New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and English from Victoria University in New Zealand. David attended the Kellogg Post-Graduate School General Management Program at Northwestern University in Chicago.
