César Évora (born November 4, 1959 in Havana, Cuba) is a Mexican actor.

He is best loved for his roles in telenovelas playing the love interest of mexican actress Helena Rojo. Their onscreen chemistry draws audiences across the globe, and provides the two with a fanbase that covers all age groups

Born in Cuba he moved to Mexico where he has lived for over ten years and then acquired Mexican citizenship. He has been in more than ten movies made in Cuba, and two Mexican movies. He has appeared in several telenovelas produced by the entertainment company Televisa. He is cousin of famed Cuban author Daína Chaviano, who lives in US since 1991. Cesar is currently married and has three children.
