Plymouth Citybus is one of four bus operators serving the City of Plymouth and the surrounding area. Plymouth CityBus' route network serves almost exclusively the boroughs and inner-city areas of Plymouth, with the majority of rural services handled by First Devon and Cornwall.

Plymouth Citybus was formed in 1986 and is wholly owned by Plymouth City Council. The Citybus network is serviced by a fleet of over 160 buses which are made of double decker buses, single deck buses and minibuses. Most single deck buses are easy access, low floor "SuperRider" buses.

Recently the company has lost control of Plymouth's Park and Ride services to First Devon and Cornwall. This changeover took place on 29 May 2006.
