Rasmus Østergaard Würtz (born 18 September 1983) is a Danish professional football player who currently plays as a midfielder for Aalborg Boldspilklub (AaB). Würtz has currently played a single match for the Denmark national football team.

He played his youth years at Skive IK in the secondary Danish 1st Division league. He represented Denmark in various youth national teams, and Würtz was awarded the 2001 Danish Under-19 Player of the Year. On 1 July 2002, he moved to AaB in the top-flight Danish Superliga championship. From his debut season in the Danish Superliga 2002-03 season, Würtz quickly became a mainstay in the starting line-up, missing only one match in his first season. He was called up for the Denmark under-21 national team, playing 17 youth national team matches, the last four games taking over for Jan Kristiansen as team captain. Following three years in AaB, only missing four of 99 Superliga games, Würtz debuted for the senior Danish national team on 2 June 2005, in a 1-0 friendly match win against Finland.

Even though he received his senior debut for Denmark, Würtz still captained the Danish under-21 national team, as Denmark qualified for the UEFA U-21 Championship 2006 and in May 2006 he was named for the Danish squad to compete at the final tournament.
