Friend 2 (Korean: 친구 2; RR: Chingu 2) is an upcoming South Korean gangster film starring Yu Oh-seong, Joo Jin-mo and Kim Woo-bin.[1] It is the sequel to the 2001 box-office hit Friend, also directed by Kwak Kyung-taek.[2][3]
Plot
In 2013, Lee Joon-seok is released after serving seventeen years in prison. He faces Sung-hoon, the grown-up son of Dong-su, the friend he'd given orders to be killed. Interspersed are scenes of his own father Lee Cheol-ju's gangster past in Busan in 1963.
