Mayor Smith's page

Smith published an article in The Ripon Forum in 2013 discussing his successes as a mayor. Mayor Smith implemented a reorganization of city government, saving nearly 20% of the total budget in doing so. He began commercial airline service at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. Additionally, Smith oversaw the development of 5 new fire stations, 2 new police stations and over $150 million in street and road improvements, and oversaw development of a three-mile extension of the Mesa light rail.[1]

==John Graham (Economist) page

In an article in The Ripon Forum in 2013, Graham wrote that he supports removing the gas tax and instead implementing a user-based mileage fee. The resulting tax resources would be able to fund road management and construction conducive to the growing traffic population, he wrote.[2]
