Cam is a village in Gloucestershire, England. Cam is situated in the picturesque Cotswolds; the Cotswold Way runs less than a mile from the village. It is geographically very close to Dursley, and the boundary between the two is sometimes blurred.

Cam has approximately 8500 residents. In the 2006 elections, Cam East was held by the Conservative party, while Cam West was taken by the Liberal Democrats, having previously been something of a Labour party (UK) stronghold.

Cam lies within Stroud district council.

Cam is predominantly a residential area but benefits from a few local shops, including a hardware store and funeral directors, a beauty salon, a stationary and card shop and a few pubs. Until recently it also boasted a branch of the Co-Op; this site was taken over by Tesco in late 2005.
