The Republican People's Party (Egyptian Arabic:حزب الشعب الجمهورى Hezb Al-Shaeb Al-Gomhuri) is a liberal Egyptian political party made up of former ministers.[1] The party supported Amr Moussa in the 2012 Egyptian presidential election.[1] Hazem Omar denied that the party was composed of remnants of the Mubarak regime.[3]
