May City, Iowa is an unincorporated town in Osceola County, Iowa, United States.

Demographics

The population is about 43 people according to the 2000 United States Census.[1]

History

The town was created in 1889. There is a Lutheran church that is called St. John's Lutheran Church. There is also a fire department in the town that is called The May City Fire Department. The 125th Anniversary of the town was on July 19, 2014. Jesse Castillo is the mayor of the town. He likes U2, the band.

Education

May City is served by the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn School District.
