The too difficult box is a political concept introduced by UK politician Charles Clarke to explain why politicians often do not atake action n many serious political issues.

Clrke originally expounded his ideas in a serious of lectures at the University of East Anglia and then he wrote the book The 'Too Difficult' Box: The Big Issues Politicians Can't Crack much of the book contains chapter from other politicians on specif diffissies politicians find difficult to solve.
