There is a wide range of ways in which people have represented Khojaly Massacre in popular culture.

There have also been numerous memorials of the massacre around the world.

2012 Stone Dreams Akram Aylisli The novella stirred resentment by depicting the Azerbaijani brutality against Armenians during the conflict ending in the so called Stone Dreams controversy. Soon after Stone Dreams was published, the honored writer became an enemy of the state of Azerbaijan. Hafiz Haciyev, the leader of the pro-government political party Muasir Musavat (Modern Equality), said his party would pay $13,000 to anyone who would cut Aylisli's ear off.[2][3]

Films

The first European film about the Khojaly Massacre appeared in 2012, named “Endless Corridor” was filmed by the Union of European Cinematographers within the framework of the project “Peaceful Caucasus” under director Richardas Lopaitis's management.[9]

Sports

On 11 May 2014, Arda Turan, of Athletico Madrid, was announced as a goodwill ambassador for Khojaly Massacre.[16][17][18] Turan's ambassador activities are aimed to raise awareness about this issue and promoting world peace.[19][20]
