Disambiguation link notification for September 9
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 365lax, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bethpage (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You have been blocked for 24 hours for a violation of the three revert rule on Dixie. Karl Dickman talk 07:34, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Clpo13 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I admit, I got a bit overzealous with the reverting. After I realized it was unproductive, I stopped and pursued alternate channels to resolve the issue (such as WP:RPP). Considering how certain users feel about the issue, I'll avoid touching Self-arrest and Dixie as well as related talk pages. I'll take a day off, but I want you to know I understand I violated policy. clpo13(talk) 3:39 am, Today (UTC−4)
Accept reason:
Unblocked with a note that this block should not have been made. NeilN talk to me 15:07, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
- I don't think this was a policy violation, due to the following exception to WP:3RR:
3. Reverting actions performed by banned users, and sockpuppets of banned or blocked users..
- Burninthruthesky (talk) 10:36, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
- There's no need for you to stay away from Self-arrest or its talk pages. In fact, discussion is occurring right now at Talk:Self-arrest that will be useful for documenting consensus if another edit war flares up. I'm sorry the situation escalated to a block. Karl Dickman talk 16:52, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
- This block should never have been made. --NeilN talk to me 17:04, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
- My thanks and commiserations to you, clpo13. I feel awful about the fact that we were simultaneously drawn into a situation where quick decision making was called for, and the edit warring component was overstepped. Oh, well. We're both going to have to wear a block log 'badge of shame' as a reminder not to intervene in the future. :( --Iryna Harpy (talk) 22:44, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Iryna Harpy: I feel you. Poking my nose into trouble areas has always been a problem. These pages are going to need a lot of work but I'm not sure I want to get too involved, especially with an IP user who thinks it's his way or the highway. What a cluster. clpo13(talk) 04:48, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
- In all honesty, I don't want to involve myself any further. The only reason I got involved was due to the user's aggressive comment left on another editor's talk page. I've had enough experience to sense that there was more to it than simply breaching CIVIL and NPA. As it stands, I'm one of those gluttons for punishment who works in the most controversial areas of Wikipedia: true ARBCOM sanction territory from Eastern Europe, to the Balkans, to the Middle East. The last thing I need on my plate is more of the same. Best of luck in keeping your nose clean! Oooh, but it's so difficult to not poke one's nose in just for a peek... --Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:07, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Rotem sivan
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rotem sivan, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Sage Mason article
Hello, I'm not writing an autobiography about myself. I'm writing a biography about Sage Mason and the controversy surrounding his tenure at Phillips Exeter Academy. That is my only purpose for creating a wikipedia page, hence my username. Please don't delete. My article is intended to be informative but also helps generate publicity for my upcoming book.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio Olympic Games article
Just let me know if theirs anything else you want me to fix up in regards to the reference and or citations section of the "Mario & Sonic at the Rio Olympic Games" article as I'm still fairly new to the sites mechanics. Hollowsnow95 (talk) 00:15, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
Request for edit
Hi! Thanks you for editing my recent Arthur Elsenaar entry. Before this article, I added an entry on artist Dani Ploeger, but this has been flagged as COI and notability has been questioned. As a curator, I do know the artist, so I guess it's a fair point. If you have time, would you be willing to look at the article and consider notability etc.? In its current state the article looks rather shabby, and since I'm not supposed to edit it anymore I would actually also be fine with deletion if nobody else feels it's relevant enough to look after. Friendly advice
Please do not advise editors that they can use WP:UNDELETE to request that pages that have been nominated for speedy deletion as you did here. This is against process and only causes more work for the adminstrators (and volunteers) to procedurally decline the request because the page is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in "articles for deletion" debates with little or no participation other than the nominator
which does not apply in the case of the article you contacted Ememasco about (which was CSD:A7). If this bad advice continues, I will raise it as a concern to the administrators that regularly process the requests to determine if corrective action is warranted.
