Alberto Rivera, fullname Alberto Rivera Pizarro, (born 16 February 1978 in Puertollano) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a central midfielder.

Career

Real Madrid

  • Rivera played for Real Madrid between the years of 1994 and 1999. At the age of 17 he made his debut appearance for Real Madrid, which would happen to be his only appearance for the first team, scoring one goal. He played 35 games, scoring 7 goals, during the 1995/1996 season for the Real Madrid C team.
  • Between 1996 and 1999 he played 73 matches for Real Madrid Castilla, scoring 20 goals, before moving on to Numancia on a loan deal. He played 29 matches for Numancia, scoring 1 goal, before returning to Real Madrid where he played 2 La Liga matches in the 2000/2001 season.

Levante

  • Rivera moved to Levante UD in 2002. In three seasons he played 113 games, scoring 17 goals, before moving on to Real Betis.
