Abhinay Banker (Gujarati: અભિનય બેન્કર) (हिन्दी: अभिनय बेन्कर) (Born 14 September 1984) is is an Indian Actor, Director & Writer in Cinema and Theatre. He has worked with various directors and designers from France, USA and Australia, Germany, Italy etc. on various theatrical techniques and honed his acting skill.
Early life
Abhinay Banker was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, He has completed his Bachelor of Performing arts with Theatre concentration and was awarded Gold medal from Gujarat University in April 2009.
Theatre (as an Actor-Director-Writer)
Abhinay has acted in more than 70 plays. His acting career started in 2005 with Nat-samrat. From 2006 he is associated with Darpana Academy of Performing Arts with which he acted in Mallika Sarabhai's Unsuni and performed more than 100 shows all over the country.
He plays a lead character in Saumya Joshi’s play which is milestone of Gujarati theatre 'Welcome Zindagi', a play which is considered among the best five plays in Gujarati Theatre and performed more than 350 shows all over the world.

Astrid Bas's Pheadre'In India', Dinesh Khanna's 'Hemlet-O-Lear' are most liked plays of him.
He has also performed and played Théramène in Jean Racine's Phedre in India at the 10th Bharat Rang Mahotsav in 2008.

He is playing Mahatma Gandhi in critically acclaimed play Kasturba. He has acted in more than 70 plays including Shakespeare's Hamlet and King Lear, Bhas’s Sharvilak, Tagore's Sacrifice and Madhu Rye’s Ashwatthama.
He entered into Indian Cinema with path breaking Gujarati film Kevi Rite Jaish which has won more than 20 awards. He has also acted in many short films like a Gujarati fiction film Frock which was screened at Berlin Film Festival and also at Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) on celebration of completing 100 years of Indian Cinema, a Marathi film Bhinti Maage (Behind the Wall) which has won Dada Saheb Phalke Award.
He is an Acting Trainer at Darpana Academy of Performing Arts, Ahmedabad. Apart from being an actor-director, he has also engaged himself in sharing his experiences with young actors and is known for-bringing new faces into Theatre.
He is also a founder member of Actor’s Theatre, Ahmedabad and Founder Director of Aarambh Arts.
