Wikipedia for Postgraduates & Researchers

Hello again, BenBenOcho! It was great to meet everyone yesterday at St Andrews, and I hope that you enjoyed the session. I also hope that it's made you think about the benefits of universities working with Wiki.

Now that you've learned the basics, I hope that you'll stay logged in, and do some editing. If you're not feeling bold enough to write an article straight away, why not try a small edit or two first, or adding a link or picture? Don't worry about it being perfect - Wiki is never finished, it's a constantly evolving entity. And there's a huge community of other editors who can help.

Welcome! Now have some cake...

As promised, here's some links that I hope will help you get in to the swing of things:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Remember, if you are writing on a talk page, please sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. See you soon!

Something I thought might interest you...

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:La Bastida de les Alcusses, from its old location at User:BenBenOcho/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. /wiae /tlk 21:08, 21 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Wiae! Appreciate the help. Will use a Draft page next time I submit an article. BenBenOcho (talk) 17:58, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
