Steve Sanghi is president, CEO and chairman of board of directors of Microchip Technology.

He has earlier worked for Intel.

He has done Masters of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and bechelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communication from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, India in 1975.
