King's Copse is a site of Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). It is just to the west of Clay Hill in Berkshire.[1] It is located within the North Wessex Downs.[2]

Geography

King's Copse covers an area of 13.7 hectares.[3] The woods are dscribed as a Broadleave, mixed and yew woodland located in a lowland area.[4]

History

The wood was classed in 1985 as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.[5]
