- Bye-elections were held on 21/06/2004 for vacancy from Andhra and Punjab due to death of seating members K. M. Khan on 16.10.2003 with term ending on 2.4.2006 and Gurcharan Singh on 1.4.2004 with term ending on 9.4.2008 [3]
- Bye-elections were held on 21/06/2004 for vacancy from Rajasthan due to death of seating member Dr Abrar Ahmed on 4.5.2004 with term ending on 9.4.2008 [3]
